Traffic Alert: Due to Governor Romney’s campaign visit to Ashland, motorists are urged to avoid the intersection of England Street and Railroad Ave from approximately noon to 1:30pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Downtown Ashland will be open for business even when roads are closed, but you may have to access your favorite business from the downtown municipal parking lot on the west side of South Railroad Avenue or the library parking area on the east side of South Railroad Avenue. Officers will be on hand to assist motorists in moving around safely.

If you wish to avoid this traffic delay all together, we recommend taking Ashcake Road through town. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
