#020 DUI Arrest
At 10:19 am, a Citizen calls in a reckless driver at Mission and Niles. Officer Franchi locates the driver, S/B Mission from Stevenson. Driver is all over the road, narrowly missing the rail road bridge undercrossing on Mission. He eventually is stopped in the turn lane at Las Palmas and Mission. Taken into custody for DUI was 53-year old adult male.

#016 Commercial Burglary
Officers took a report at the Oyshi Japanese restaurant at Warm Springs/ Mission Blvd for a commercial burglary at 9:16 a.m. The burglary occurred sometime between 9:45 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. The glass in the front door had been smashed and money from the cash register had been taken.

#024 Hit and Run
A vehicle strikes a pedestrian at Mowry and Paseo Padre Pkwy. No further details available at this time.

#046 Under the Influence Arrest
At 9:10 p.m., Officer N. Johnson conducted a traffic stop and arrested an adult male for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

#029 Commercial Burglary
At 3:40 p.m, Officers responded to a commercial burglary that had occurred at 40967 Fremont Blvd (Kanyadaan Boutique). The burglary occurred sometime between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. (noon). Suspects removed the air conditioning unit, allowing access to the open window. Unable to determine loss at this time. Investigation by CSO Escamilla.

Several apartment complex burglaries reported during the shift. They are as follows:

#032 Residential Burglary
At 4:30 p.m, Officers were dispatched to a residential burglary that had occurred at 39440 Civic Center Drive. Entry was determined to have been made via the front door on the fourth floor, however there is no damage to the door or lock. Several items are taken including luggage, laptops, iPod, camera, game system and jewelry. Investigation by CSO Allen.

#039 Residential Burglary
Officers responded to a residential burglary that had occurred at 39199 Guardino Drive. The burglary occurred sometime between 10:00 a.m, on July 28th – 6:00 p.m. Monday. A resident across the hall had also been the victim of burglary. Entry was made via the front door. A laptop and game system were taken. Investigation by CSO Escamilla.

#041 Residential Burglary
At 7:09 p.m. Officers responded to a burglary that had occurred at 38660 Lexington St. The burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Entry was made either via the front door or sliding glass door, as both were open and evidence of tampering with both was noted. A laptop and jewelry were taken. Investigation by CSO Allen.

#043 Residential Burglary
This burglary is mentioned in #039 above. The burglary occurred at 39199 Guardino Drive sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. today. Entry was made via the front door. An iPad and jewelry were removed from the residence. Residents were advised to try using the iCloud tracking software to try and locate the stolen iPad. Investigation by CSO Escamilla.
