A local woman was arrested on misdemeanor drug charges Tuesday after her initial arrest for contempt of court in district court.
Vannah Shaye Reedy, 27, who lists an address of 323 Cindy St., was taken into custody around 5 p.m. on the contempt charge and later charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, each punishable by up to one year in jail or a $1,000 bond.
The report notes she was taken into custody by GCSD Deputy Kevin Haws and while searching her he located six pills, including four Tramadol Hydrochloride and two Alprazolam, which require a prescription.
Reedy, who is on probation, was still being held without bond Wednesday and is set to appear Friday in district court.
