Homicides – Between 7/22-7/28, there was one gang-related homicide. In 2012 YTD, there have been 16 homicides. In 2011 YTD, there were 17 homicides.

Rape – Between 7/22-7/28, there were no reported rapes. In 2012 YTD, there have been 19 reported rapes. In 2011 YTD, there were 38 reported rapes.
Robberies – Between 7/22-7/28, there were 6 reported robberies. There were two armed robberies & four strong-arm robberies; all four of the strong-arm robberies were chain snatches. In 2012 YTD, total robberies are up approx. 4% from 2011.

Suspect Description: S/MB/18-25/509-600/180-200/wearing a blk motorcycle helmet with blu & sil accents, drk clothing, & blk gloves
Weapon used: Handgun.
Aggravated Assaults – Between 7/22-7/28, there were 14 reported incidents of aggravated assault. Those incidents include two incidents of domestic violence. During this period, there were four gang-related ADW-Gun incidents (two incidents occurred in RD 2813). In 2012 YTD, aggravated assaults are down approx. 13% from 2011.
Residential Burglary – Between 7/22-7/28, there were 15 reported residential burglaries. In District III, there were 6 reported incidents during this period (4 incidents occurred along Wilmington Av). In 2012 YTD, residential burglaries are down approx. 28% from 2011.
Comm/Other Structure Burglary – Between 7/22-7/28, there was one reported comm/other structure burglaries. In 2012 YTD, there have been 96 reported incidents; down approx. 20% from 2011.
Grand Theft Auto – Between 7/22-7/28, there were 12 reported stolen vehicles. In District II, 4 vehicles were reported stolen during this time period (3 in RD 2826). During this time period, District III had 3 reported stolen vehicles. In 2012 YTD, GTAs are down approx. 5% from 2011.
Vehicle Burglary – Between 7/22-7/28, there were 5 reported vehicle burglaries. In 2012 YTD, there have been 169 reported incidents; down approx. 37% from 2011.
