The Ada Police Department is utilizing a new web based process to auction off unclaimed items of property as well as departmental equipment no longer needed. Effective immediately the Ada Police Department will utilize GovDeals.com as its ...on-line clearinghouse for unclaimed, forfeited and excess equipment.

The public is invited to browse our offerings as well as those of nearly 5000 other agencies within the nation who also utilize GovDeals.com. There is no charge to access the website or to register an account with GovDeals.com. There are fees associated with items that have been won through the auction process and item pick up are in-person only.

GovDeals.com offers registered persons the ability to receive email texts for particular geographical areas or items of interest.

Currently the Ada Police Department has for auction 7 lots of bicycles that have remained unclaimed for the past several years. The department will also be listing several tools and misc. items in the near future.

The Ada Police Department will also utilize GovDeals.com to sell excess cruisers and other major forfeited items as the need presents itself.
