SUSPECT(S): 3 female suspects.

Suspect(s) #1 and #2 are black females. Their ages range between 18-20 years old and they were wearing dark clothing. The victim was unable to describe suspect #3. One of the suspects was armed with a 1-2 foot long pipe.

Suspect #3 was the driver of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was a small light colored compact car.


DETAILS:

On 07/23/12, approximately 9:15 pm, there was an armed robbery that occurred within the residential neighborhood described above. The victim’s ages ranges between 16-20 years old. They were walking down the street and they noticed a small vehicle drive by them and park. Shortly after that, suspects #1 and #2 approached them from behind carrying a 1-2 foot long pipe.

Suspect #1 struck one of the victims in the arm with the pipe and the force of the blow caused the victims purse to fall. The suspects also attempted to strike the other victim but she was able to block the strike. The suspects got into the waiting vehicle and it fled toward E. 14th St.

Lt. Randall Brandt said, “The witnesses in this incident made great observations. I would like to stress the importance of calling the police as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of us catching the suspects responsible.”
