Suspicious envelope received by Fremont PD.

Today at approximately 11:00 a.m., a Fremont Police Department employee recognized an envelope in the mail, addressed to the Fremont Police Department, that looked similar to letters received by several Alameda County Law Enforcement agencies on Friday. The alert employee immediately notified her supervisor and the envelope was isolated, causing no major disruption to service. The FBI is responding to take possession and further analyze the unopened letter.
