Homicides – Between 7/8-7/14, there were no homicides during this period. In 2012 YTD, there have been 15 homicides. In 2011 YTD, there were 17 homicides.
Rape – Between 7/8-7/14, there was one reported rapes. In 2012 YTD, there have been 19 reported rapes. In 2011 YTD, there were 33 reported rapes.

Robberies – Between 7/8-7/14, there were 6 reported robberies. There was one armed carjacking & five strong-arm robberies; two of the strong-arm robberies were chain snatches. In District III, there were 3 reported robberies near Alondra Bl during this time period. In RD 2822, there were two reported strong-arm robberies during this period. In In 2012 YTD, total robberies are up approx. 12% from 2011.

Aggravated Assaults – Between 7/8-7/14, there were 13 reported incidents of aggravated assault. Those incidents include four incidents of domestic violence, and one incident of child assault. During this period, there were two ADW-Gun incidents. In 2012 YTD, aggravated assaults are down approx. 16% from 2011.
Residential Burglary – Between 7/8-7/14, there were 10 reported residential burglaries. 60% of reported incidents occurred within District IV & E. Rancho Dominguez during this period. In 2012 YTD, residential burglaries are down approx. 30% from 2011.
Comm/Other Structure Burglary – Between 7/8-7/14, there were 3 reported comm/other structure burglaries. All reported incidents occurred within District II along Compton Bl (2 incidents occurred at 1449 E Compton Bl). In 2012 YTD, there have been 90 reported incidents; down approx. 20% from 2011.
Grand Theft Auto – Between 7/8-7/14, there were 15 reported stolen vehicles. In District III, 5 vehicles were reported stolen during this time period. District II & District IV each had 3 reported stolen vehicles during this time period. In 2012 YTD, GTAs are down approx. 4% from 2011.
Vehicle Burglary – Between 7/8-7/14, there were 10 reported vehicle burglaries. There were four reported incidents in unincorporated Gardena (3 incidents occurred at 14805 S. San Pedro St in the EM hrs). In 2012 YTD, there have been 179 reported incidents; down approx. 36% from 2011.
