Save the Date: National Night Out August 7, 2012
Come join 37 million other people by taking part in this year’s “National Night Out.” The city of Lynwood will be participating in this year’s “National Night Out” on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Send a powerful message to criminals letting them know your neighborhood is fighting back.
This year’s event will be held on Martin Luther King Boulevard, between Bullis Road and Hulme Avenue. The event will feature the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department, music, information booths, health screening, kids’ entertainment, and raffle prizes.
National Night Out is in its 29th year and is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and improve police-community partnerships.
