Shooting in the 2000 block of Cherrywood 
On Monday, July 2, 2012 at approx 4:00pm, Denton PD received a 911 call stating that a person had been shot in the 2000 blk of Cherrywood. Denton PD wanted to let the residents in that area know that we have made an arrest in this incident. The suspect knew the victim, and this was NOT a random act of violence. The suspect was not seeking random victims in the neighborhood.
