West Long Branch will host their annual Fireworks Event at Franklin Lake Park on Locust Avenue on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Event starts at 7PM with Fireworks at 9PM.
Traffic will be detoured around the event and all eastbound traffic on Highway 36 will be detoured down Broadway. Remember to follow directions of Traffic Officers, detour signs and abide by all parking regulations. Expect heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic. USE CAUTION and exercise extra awareness while driving!
Personal fireworks possession and use will be strictly enforced this year due to the water crisis. It's not worth the danger or the summons. Just don't do it.
