Sheriff's Office Activity for 7/1/2012. 
-100 blk Igoe, Anton: Animal Complaint. A deputy was dispatched to meet wth a complainant in reference to a dog bite. A report was taken related to the incident.
-Hwy 114 at Opdyke Gin Rd: Loose Livestock.
-800 blk South FM 168, Smyer: Shots Fired.
-West Hwy 114 at Topeka Rd: Traffic Complaint.
-3700 blk Norway Rd: Suspicious Vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to the area related to occupants in a vehicle spotlighting residences. The subjects were contacted in the area, identified, and released after it was determined no offenses occurred.
-FM 300 at Guy Wire Rd: Fire. Deputies were dispatched to an fire in the area. The source was located at a burn off valve near a tank battery.
Deputies also conducted close patrols on area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement, and criminal interdiction activities.
