Heat Advisory for Greene County

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a heat advisory for Greene County this week. The advisory will be in effect for the whole Miami Valley as temperatures warm into the 90s; with the heat index it will be 100 to 105 degrees in the afternoon and early evening.

The National Weather Service advises people in the advisory area to avoid prolonged work in the sun or poorly ventilated areas, to drink plenty of liquids and to try and stay in an air conditioned environment.
