Sheriff's Office Activity for 6/24/12. 
-6700 blk Georgia Rd: Recover Stolen Vehicle. Deputy was dispatched to the area in reference to an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. The deputy contacted the registered owner and was advised the vehicle was stolen in Lubbock. There was extensive damage to the vehicle, which was released to a wrecker service. A report was completed for felony Criminal Mischief and Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was processed for evidence and several items were collected. The investigation is ongoing.
-2500 blk Mockingbird: Fireworks call.
-Hwy 114 at Barton Ln: Suspicious Vehicle.
-300 blk Maurer, Anton: Noise disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a noise complaint in the area. On arrival, deputies determined involved parties had already left the area.
-4200 blk US Hwy 62/82, Ropesville: Motorist Assist.
-2300 blk East Ellis: Animal Complaint.
Deputies also conducted close patrols on area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement, and criminal interdiction activities.
