Synopsis:
A 48 year old WMA was standing in line to receive food. A HMA 20-30 years old, 6-0, medium build, wearing a baseball cap, hoodie and blue jeans, attacked him with an aluminum baseball bat. The victim was struck in the head and chest. He suffered a brain bleed and his injuries are considered to be life threatening. The suspect was last seen running southbound on 16th St. Central Division is investigating.

Synopsis:
A 67 year old WMA was tied up by two suspects who entered his home through an unlocked door and robbed him. The suspects entered his home, one of the suspects produced a gun, they tied up the victim and stole his dark blue BMW, some cash and some computers. One of the suspects was described as being a WMA, 6’2” tall with a thin build, a reddish blond goatee and multiple tattoos. The other suspect was a WMA who was described as being taller and larger than the first suspect. He was wearing a blue, zip-up sweater. Robbery Detectives were on scene and are investigating.

Type: SEXUAL BATTERY
Synopsis:
A 22 year-old woman was walking southbound 4500 Everts Street when she was approached from behind by an unknown White male. The male wrapped his arms around the female and groped her breasts through her clothing. The victim elbowed the male to get away from him, and the suspect ran southbound Everts Street from Grand Avenue. The victim described the suspect as a WM in his 20’s, wearing a black sweatshirt with the letters “SDSU” on the front. Officers did a thorough search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Northern Division personnel provided a description of the suspect to employees of all the nightclubs along Garnet Avenue, asking their employees to call if they saw a person matching that description.
At 0112 hours, Police Communications received a call stating that a person matching the description was seen at 1000 Hornblend Street, near Dawes Street. Officers located the person, and after a brief investigation, officers placed the individual under arrest for the earlier sexual battery. Sex Crimes Detectives responded to the scene to handle the follow up investigation. For further information, please contact the Sex Crimes Unit.
