SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT SET FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. 
(Oklahoma City) The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office and the Logan County Sheriff's Office will hold a joint Memorial Day weekend sobriety checkpoint, and saturation patrols. The event will start on May 26th at 9:00pm and end on May 27th at 4:00am.
According to statistics from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office during 2010 there were 9 fatalities from crashes, 5 of those deaths were linked to alcohol related wrecks.
Plan ahead this holiday weekend and have a sober designated driver, call a cab, or use the AAA Tipsy Tow service free of charge by calling (800)-AAA-HELP.
