On May 18th just after 11:00 p.m., L.B.P.D. was dispatched to investigate a group of male subjects who were seen spray painting a wall in the area of Artesia Boulevard and Cherry Avenue. Officers arrived and arrested a male adult and two juveniles on a variety of charges including vandalism, possession of etching tools, possession of graffiti paraphernalia and curfew violations. During their follow-up investigation, officers located approximately 30 additional locations with fresh graffiti that these individuals are also suspected of committing. Residents are reminded to always report any suspicious persons or activity immediately by calling 9-1-1. These three suspects were caught as a result of a concerned resident who took swift action … you too can be L.B.P.D.'s eyes and ears!
