AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON POLICE, BARRICADED SUBJECT 
On May 19th, while on Jennifer Lane, at approximately 3:21 PM, P/O Tarasewicz, #56, observed a suspect drop a bag with marijuana under a nearby parked vehicle while walking. When the officer went to handcuff Robert Williams Jr, 19 years old, from Burlington, NJ, Williams punched the officer twice. The officer wrestled Williams to the ground. Williams broke free and ran through the neighborhood where he barricaded himself within his residence on Jennifer Lane, refusing to surrender to Police. After approximately two hours Williams surrendered to Police. Williams was charged with Aggravated Assault on Police, Hindering Apprehension, Resisting Arrest by Force, Possession of marijuana, and being wanted by the Burlington County sheriffs for Drug Distribution. Williams was transported to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $75,000. There was No Bail on the Burlington County Sheriff warrant.
Patrick Malloy, 18 years of age, of Burlington NJ, was also charged during this incident with Possession of marijuana, Tampering with Evidence, and Obstruction, for picking up the marijuana after Williams ran off and attempted to hide the marijuana on an adjacent property. He was released on a summons.
Officer Tarasewicz received minor injuries, but did not require medical attention
