Implemented by the City of New Port Richey, the volunteer program has minimum volunteer responsibilities:
-Commit to removing litter at least 4 times a year along a designated City Roadway.
-Conduct two safety meetings a year.
-Dedicate 2 years to the program.
The City of New Port Richey's Public Works Deparmment provide groups with safety signs, safety vests, trash bags and trash removal when the clean up is completed.
In exchange for this valuable assistance, the groups are publicly recognized with signage placed along the adopted section for roadway.
