On 05-10-12, victim #1 (15 year old female) and victim #2 (14 year old female) were walking to Grossmont High School. A male (later identified as Daniel Hubbard) drove past them in a tan van three different times. Hubbard asked the victims if they needed a ride to school and told them to get in the van. At one point, he angrily yelled at them to get into the van. When the victim’s ran towards the school, he drove away.

The El Cajon Police Department’s School Resource Officer at Grossmont High School put out a flyer describing the incident which was sent home with all the students. An anonymous citizen called the officer and told her she suspected someone who was the driving the van.

Hubbard pulled to the curb where the victim was walking and began walking with her. He said several sexual comments to her. The victim told Hubbard that she needed to get to school and for him to leave her alone.

Hubbard grabbed the victim’s left forearm with his right hand and tugged on her arm. The victim pulled back and slapped Hubbard’s hand off. She ran towards the school.

Victim #1 is a Spring Valley resident. Victim #2 is a resident of El Cajon. Victim #3 is a resident of Lemon Grove.
