Bamboozle Music Fest in Asbury this weekend. Expect traffic delays, congestion, parking restrictions, & street closures. 
The Deal Police Department would like to advise the residents of Deal, Interlaken, and Loch Arbour about this weekend, May 18, 19, and 20th. The City of Asbury Park will be hosting the Bamboozle music festival at the beachfront. At this time the estimated crowds are between 30 and 40 thousand attendees per day. Residents should expect heavy traffic in and around the City during this time. Residents may also experience a large number of vehicles parked in residential neighborhoodsl. The police department will be issuing emergency parking restrictions on Ocean Avenue in Loch Arbour on the both sides of Ocean from Elberon Avenue to Edgemont Drive and on Edgemont Drive West to Norwood Avenue. In addition, Edgemont drive will be closed eastbound from Ocean Avenue entering Asbury Park. The Deal Police Department has been actively planning for this event and will be increasing staffing levels for the entire weekend. Officers will be directing traffic as needed, conducting highly visible patrols, and aggressively enforcing of quality of life violations. At times of peak vehicular traffic, some roadways may be closed or restricted. This does not include residents living in our communities and officers have been directed to accommodate residents returning to their homes.
