On May 18 between 9am-12pm, there will an increase in traffic and police presence at, and around, the Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC). Emergency traffic and those with business at the hospital will not be affected. Casual traffic should consider using alternative routes to avoid Coal Valley Road in the vicinity of the JRMC. The Jefferson Hills Police Department, assisted by a police response from up to 18 neighboring police departments, are part of an emergency preparedness drill with the JRMC.
