The victim has been located by Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators. She has no visible injuries. The suspect is still outstanding.

News Release
On Wednesday, May 16, at approximately 6 a.m., 42-year old Suspect Joe Martinez entered his ex-girlfriend’s residence in the 9400 block of Burke Street, Pico Rivera, and allegedly kidnapped her at gunpoint.
Suspect Martinez knocked on the door and when a family member opened the door, he walked in. He showed the residents a gun, and directed ex-girlfriend 20-year old kidnap Victim Adriana Lopez to come with him. He grabbed her by the arm and took her out to a car.
The suspect and victim were seen leaving the area in a small white car.
The suspect is known to frequent the West Covina and unincorporated Bassett areas of the San Gabriel Valley.

Suspect: Joe Martinez, DOB 11/28/68, MH, 5’8”, 240 lbs

The suspect has a criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone sees the suspect or the victim, they are asked not to contact them. Instead, make a mental note of the location and the license number if they are in A car, and call 9-1-1 from a safe location as soon as possile.
