Narrative:
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office will facilitate a media tour of the Ventura County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The address is 800 South Victoria Avenue in the city of Ventura. All media will meet a designated public information officer in the lobby of the Main Jail building and be escorted to the EOC.

The County of Ventura will be participating in the statewide Golden Guardian disaster exercise on May 16, 2012 by activating the County Operational Area Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The exercise scenario is based on a 7.8 magnitude earthquake along the San Andreas fault with the epicenter near the community of Gorman.
