Synopsis:
A 19 year old male suffered a fractured skull and brain bleed when he ran across Palm Avenue into the path of a Toyota Corolla and was struck. The Toyota was driven by a 61 year old female who was driving westbound through the intersection of Palm Ave and Dennery Rd. on a green light. Traffic Division is investigating.

Type: ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON/ ATTEMPT ROBBERY
Synopsis:
Two males were talking to each other in a car. A HMA in his 30’s wearing baggy shorts and white socks pulled up high, walked up to the car with a sledge hammer and broke the window. He demanded cash from the men in the car. He struck one of the man in the head with the hammer, then took off running in an eastbound direction. There was no loss and the victim suffered non life threatening head wounds. Mid City Division will be investigating the crime.
