RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY ARREST
One individual has been arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.
“James Maxell Scott, Jr., 20, of East Gadsden, was arrested and charged with one count of receiving stolen property, which is a felony,” says Investigator Shane Hartley. “Scott was booked into the Detention Center on May 9th.”
Scott allegedly received and sold stolen jewelry at a store in Gadsden. The jewelry had been taken from a residence in Rainbow City on April 30th. Three pieces of jewelry were recovered, one item is still missing.
He was released from the Etowah County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
