COPPER THEFT ARREST
One individual has been arrested and charged with a theft related offense.
“Delandis Dojvan Taylor, 19, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with three counts of first degree theft of property and one count of attempted theft of property, all are felonies” says Investigator Chad Langdale. “Taylor was booked into the Detention Center on May 7th.”
Taylor allegedly stole copper and aluminum wiring from air conditioning units at New Faith Community Church, located on Whites Chapel Road, and from the Tidmore Bend Volunteer Fire Department. The thefts occurred over a three week period.
Taylor is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $80,000 cash bond.
He was previously out on bond for similar incidents.
