Planning Commission scheduled on May 15 at 6:30 pm in the Wall Street Bldg 8th Floor Hearing Room located at 2930 Wetmore Ave in Everett.

Item 1 is a public briefing on the results of the online and written survey on the Central Waterfront Planning Area established by Ordinance No. 3260-12. The Central Waterfront Planning Area consists of the Kimberly Clark paper mill and a few other properties in the immediate vicinity.

Item 2 is a public briefing on proposed amendments to the tree and landscape standards in parking lot areas. This is being moved forward at this time after a number of new zoning classifications like the Broadway Mixed Use (BMU), Evergreen Way E-1 and E-1 Mixed Use Overlay efforts have been completed. The standards will apply city-wide and is part of an effort to review how our standards have been working and reviewing past code amendment results. This is the start of the public review. Staff will also be presenting these amendments to the Tree Committee on June 21, 2012.
