The pictured person who was wanted for questioning in regards to the sexual assaults of three girls in the West Willow area has been apprehended. The investigation is ongoing and as information is available we will keep our neighbors informed. Thank you to all of you who assisted in locating this individual.
ORIGINAL RELEASE IS BELOW:
This morning at approximately 7:00am deputies responded to a call of an attempt abduction/sexual assault that had just occurred in the area of Chevrolet and Studebaker in the West Willow Neighborhood. The 17 year old victim was walking to the bus stop when a man on a bike rode past her. Moments later he grabbed her from behind, covering her mouth and attempted to fondle her. The victim bit the suspect on his left hand causing him to release her mouth. She was able to scream and run away. The suspect was last seen in the area of Chevrolet and Zephyr.
While investigating, deputies received a second call from the parents of an 11 year old girl who had also been approached by a suspect matching a similar description. As she was waiting at her bus stop in the area of Nash and Dodge Ct. the suspect approached her on the bike and grabbed her. She then started to scream and another parent intervened scaring the suspect off.
A third young lady who was also waiting at another stop alerted deputies in the area that this same suspect had approached her and attempted to "touch her breasts".
All three incidents described a similar suspect.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
-25-30 year old black male
-Medium complexion and medium build
-All described short "blotchy" or "scruffy" hair cut with short "scruffy" facial hair
-Each time he was seen riding a dark colored, possibly black bike
-This morning he was seen wearing red shorts with a black hoodie
the suspect may have visible bite marks on his left hand
