Narrative:
On May 8, 2012, at about 1116 hours, Moorpark patrol deputies responded to the 500 block of Spring Road for a report of multiple subjects fighting. Upon arrival, they discovered five subjects had been involved in a fight over a noise complaint. According to the victims’ statements, Manuel Ceja and Samuel Rios ultimately held the two victims on the ground, during the fight, while Ignacio Sanchez hit the victims with a wrench. The victims’ injuries were consistent with their statements. The two victims were transported to a local hospital, treated and released. One of the victims required sutures to his head.

Ceja, Sanchez and Rios were arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon. They are all currently in custody at the Ventura County Jail with a bail of $20,000.
