Eight Arlington Police Officers have made the ultimate sacrifice during the department’s more than 100-year history. Each year, the community comes together along with police employees and family to honor the sacrifice these officers made through their heroic service to the City of Arlington. As part of the 2012 National Police Week, the Arlington Police Department will host a ceremony Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Heroes Park (2100 W. Green Oaks Boulevard). The ceremony is open to the public and will include a moment of silence for our heroes.
