Reported door-to-door soliciting by subjects claiming to represent "Alliant Energy" seeking homeowners to switch electric suppliers. 
It has been reported that there has recently been door-to-door soliciting in Roscoe by persons claiming to represent "Alliant Energy" seeking homeowners to switch to Alliant from their present electric provider. Alliant Energy in Beloit was contacted and stated that they do not solicit door-to-door and they do not service the Roscoe, Illinois area. Should you be solicited by these individuals, please contact the Roscoe Police Department immediately.
