CRIME/INCIDENT: 459 PC- Residential Burglary

DATE/TIME REPORTED: May 2, 2012 @0949 hrs.

LOCATION: 1900 blk. Oak Park Blvd.

SUSPECT(S): Three juvenile suspects, ages 13, 14, and 14 all Bay Point Residents who attend Pleasant Hill Schools

BRIEF STATEMENT OF INCIDENT:
On 05-02-12 at approx. 0949 hrs. Pleasant Hill Police Department Dispatch received a call from a citizen who observed three suspicious subjects in the area of Byron Ct. and Stevenson Dr. The citizen reported the subjects were looking over fences of residences in the area.

Pleasant Hill Police Department Officers responded and located one juvenile near the intersection of Oak Park Blvd. and Stevenson Dr. It was quickly determined that the other two subjects were inside of a residence in the 1900 blk. of Oak Park Blvd., burglarizing it.

A perimeter was set up around the residence and during this time one suspect attempted to flee from the residence through a window. The suspect was immediately taken into custody by officers. The second suspect was confronted while he was still inside of the residence and he was also taken into custody.
Further investigation revealed the suspects had burglarized at least one other residence today. Further investigation is being conducted to determine if the suspects have committed other crimes in the area. The suspects were all booked into Juvenile Hall for Residential Burglary.

The diligence of the reporting party who called in this suspicious circumstance directly lead to the arrest of these juveniles. The Pleasant Hill Police Department encourages anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity to immediately contact the Pleasant Hill Police Department.
