The Bike Rodeo is open to kids ages 12 and under. Participants must wear a helmet and bring their own bicycle. Pre-registration is suggested by emailing the department at [email protected] with the name and age of the participants.
The rodeo will begin promptly at 8:30 am with participants having their bicycles registered with the Police Department. Kids will watch a bicycle safety video and than be instructed on proper riding safety. Kids will than finish the program by being escorted through a bicycle safety course.
Kids that complete the program will be awarded a certificate of completion, a tote bag with prizes and a ticket for a chance to win a free bicycle.
RAIN DATE: The rodeo will be cancelled if on the day of the event there is standing water due to rain. The rodeo will than be held on Tuesday, May 15th at 6:30 pm at the Borough Hall.
