Gaming business at 807 S. Georgia robbed last night, two suspects, no arrests at this time.
On Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at approximately 10:14 PM, two masked suspects entered the Tumbleweed Sweepstakes at 807 S. Georgia. The front door glass was shattered as they forced their way into the business. The suspects were dressed in black and their faces were covered. Suspect #1 was described as being approximately 5’4- 5’7, 145 lbs, and maybe in his 20’s. The first suspect’s hoodie was red and black and he had a mask underneath, covering the face. The second suspect was also dressed in black but wearing shorts. No additional description for the second suspect is available at this time. The first subject was armed with an unknown type handgun. That suspect fired one shot into the ceiling. There were several people inside the business playing the machines. The suspects took an undetermined amount of money from the register, along with a purse belonging to one of the patrons. The suspects ran out the door, possibly toward the alley. No vehicle was seen. The race of the suspects was unknown. No one was injured and there have been no arrests.
