04/10/12
1124- Suspicious individuals were reported on Faxon Hill Rd. Ofc. Corrigan checked then out and assisted back to where they were supposed to be.

1216- Ofc Corrigan responded with Washington Rescue to assist at a medical call on Old Marlow Rd.

04/11/12
1758- Chief Marshall responded to an abandoned 911 call on E. Washington. He found a mother and son involved in an argument. The situation was calmed and resolved.

04/12/12
1313- Chief Marshall proved to be smarted than a Toyota Camry and was unable to retrieve the keys that were locked in a car on Faxon Hill Rd.

2123- A complaint was called in to the Selectmen’s Office about parked cars blocking line of sight on So. Main St. The owners had moved the cars before Chief Marshall arrived.

04/13
0900- The school bus driver reported unsafe operation of a vehicle on Faxon Hill Rd. Ofc. Corrigan to speak with the offending driver.

1046- A set of keys was lost at the General Store and turned in to Ofc. Corrigan.

1630- A Halfmoon Pond Rd. resident complained of a car driving too quickly on the road. Chief Marshall spoke with the operator’s parents.

1659- The Fire Department was assisted at brush fire on Purling Beck Rd.

1924- Chief Marshall responded with Rescue to a medical call on Hayes Rd. One patient transported to the hospital.

2145- Chief Marshall responded to assist a Sullivan County Deputy and State Police at a report of a burglary in progress with shots fired in Unity.

04/14
1909- Ofc. Corrigan assisted at an illegal burn on Cross St. The homeowner was issued a warning.
04/15
1110- A resident of Stoddard Point Way was warned by Chief Marshall about burning during the ban.

1150- Chief Marshall checked a suspicious vehicle at a vacant house on Valley Rd.

1759- Chief Marshall responded with Rescue to an injury where the patient was driving to the Center Fire Station. Medical personnel on scene handled the matter.

04/17
1217- Chief Marshall took the Students of the Month- Halie Hurd, Abbey Mills, Harry Burbine to lunch at the Sampan, courtesy of the sponsors, Dave and Joyce Dailey.

1447- Residential alarm on Highland Haven. Checked by Hillsboro Police while Chief Marshall was out of town on an investigation. No problem found.

04/20
1010- Window damage was reported to a house on E. Shore Rd. Ofc. Corrigan took a report and forwarded it to the Stoddard Police.

1302- Ofc. Corrigan completed a VIN verification on No. Main St.

1900- A report of a burglary attempt was investigated on Harrison Dr. Chief Marshall checked and found an improperly secured door damaged by wind.

1954- Chief Marshall served a subpoena on Bailey Rd. for the Antrim Police.

04/21
1009- A Washington Dr. resident reported a health hazard at another residence on the road. Ofc. Corrigan responded, and found the matter benign, but referred the matter to the Health Officer.

1740- Chief Marshall checked into a smell of smoke in the area of Valley Rd. and Stoddard Point Way. He found a grill on deck, but got there a bit too soon to join the party.

1807- A motorist reported to Chief Marshall a vehicle operating erratically on So. Main St.

1859- Chief Marshall arrested Stacy Grimes, age 36, of Hillsboro for DWI on So. Main St. She was processed and released on Personal Recognizance to appear in the 5th Circuit Court in Newport.

04/22
0729- Ofcs. Puchtler and Corrigan and some local students assisted at the Hillsboro Mason’s Harmony Lodge Washington DARE breakfast fundraiser.

1318- A HIN check was done on a boat on Stoddard Point Way by Ofc. Corrigan.

04/23
1430- The DPW Director reported an illegal dumping at the old landfill. Ofc. Corrigan investigating.

1800- An unhappy parented called to complain of an officer’s actions. Chief Marshall is looking into the matter.

04/24
1351- A Lempster Mtn. Rd. resident was concerned about a bottle on the lawn after seeing an internet posting on bottle bombs. Chief Marshall retrieved the litter and put it in the recycling.

04/26
0240- Chief Marshall responded to residential burglar alarm in Lake Ashuelot Estates (LAE). No problem was found.

04/28
1000- During the National Drug take Back Day 16 area residents turned over 41 pounds of unused and expired medications to the Washington Police to be destroyed by the DEA.

1322- A Valley Rd. landlord turned over 2 weapons that had been abandoned by an evicted tenant.

Conducted/registered 20 vacant house checks,
Stopped 30 vehicles and issued 1 summons for speed
