UPDATE:
On 05-11-2012 after receiving numerous tips from helpful citizens, Tynica S. Talton was identified as a potential suspect in this incident. Talton came to the West Monroe Police Department and advised Detectives that she had taken money from the Victim on 04-25-2012.
Talton was subsequently taken into custody for Theft and was booked into the West Monroe Correctional Center where she was held in lieu of $750.00 bond.

On 04-25-2012 West Monroe Police responded to a local business inside the limits of West Monroe in reference to a reported Theft of cash from the business.
Detectives need your help in identifying the unknown black female who is seen here entering the business through a front door and removing an undisclosed amount of cash from a rear sales counter while employees were in back of the store out of sight.
The unknown female concealed the stolen cash on her person and quickly exited the store.
Anyone with information about this female or her whereabouts is urged to contact the West Monroe Police Department, Detective Sgt. J. Smith 318-396-0550 or Crime Stoppers at 318-388-CASH.
