On Monday, April 30, 2012, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will begin asphalt paving operations on North Territorial Road from Whitmore Lake Road to Spencer Road. Also included will be guardrail upgrades at the North Territorial Road/US-23 interchange. These paving operations and guardrail improvements are expected to take approximately ten (10) days. Traffic will be restricted to one-lane under flag control operations during the day while work is occurring. Access for residents, businesses and deliveries will be maintained. However, delays are likely.
Please note that all dates are tentative and the asphalt paving operations are weather dependent.
To maintain the safety of road crews, motorists are asked to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly. The Washtenaw County Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as we continue our efforts to preserve the county road system.
