WANTED:Heavy-Set Male susp, white Cadillac Escalade.Fri,6pm,Hit & Run, man fatal & 7 yr-old girl critical, Willowbrook CHP Southern Div.

The California Highway Patrol – South Los Angeles Station, is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a fatal Hit and Run of a man and critical injury to a 7-year old girl shortly before 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20,2012.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Santa Ana Boulevard and Watts Avenue, Willowbrook, in an unincorporated area of south Los Angeles County.

The two victims were crossing at the intersection when they were struck by an SUV. The male, was pronounced dead at the scene and the 7 year old girl was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

The driver did not stop to render assistance and fled in an unknown direction.

Description of wanted person and vehicle:

Suspect: Heavy-set Hispanic man with short hair and a goatee style beard, wearing a white t-shirt and a gold chain style necklace.

Suspect vehicle: Newer-model, white or white pearl-colored Cadillac Escalade SUV, unknown license plate, missing the front Cadillac emblem, with front end damage and flaked paint.
