Earth Day is celebrating its 42nd anniversary, uniting people of all nationalities and backgrounds both to appreciate and work toward sustaining our planet.
The City’s Environmental Committee is hosting its first Earth Day Fair! The event includes a “Friends of the Library” book sale, vendors from local businesses and entertainment.
This is an opportunity to learn how your community works together for a sustainable future. Sponsored by the Leaning Tower of Pizza and Ecology Florida.
Special Teen Activity & Contribution of Earth Day Jewelry! on Tues, Apr. 17 at 4PM.
In honor of Earth Day, we're turning yesterday’s trash to today’s fashion. Learn how to reduce the amount of items you throw away and make some one-of-a-kind accessories while you’re at it. We'll be using plastic grocery bags, old magazines and newspapers to make something beautiful! Create your own jewelry to take home. And, make additional beads for the upcoming Earth Day Celebration in the NPR Library Courtyard.
