Advisory

Warning. Greenland Tragedy Solicitation Scam. Do not donate to any cause soliciting for Chief Maloney or the wounded officers.

The NH Association of Chief's of Police has received several calls from residents throughout the State about telemarketing calls they are getting from a person who represents themselves as calling for the NHACoP and seeking funds to assist the families of Chief Maloney and the 4 wounded officers. Most of the caller IDs did not provide information, but a few and indicated it was from Arizona.

The NHACoP is not doing telemarketing of any type for any reasons. Inquiries with SACOP and New England Chiefs revealed the same. All media was notified and should be running warnings this evening. All agencies are asked to use Nixle, local list serves and other notification means to warn the public of these calls.

If any of these types of calls are received please report them to the PD.
