THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI AND OAHU AND NORTH FACING SHORES OF MOLOKAI AND MAUI STARTING SATURDAY AFTERNOON

SWELLS GENERATED BY LOW PRESSURE NORTHWEST OF HAWAII ON THURSDAY WILL PUT HIGH SURF ALONG NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES.

HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 8 PM HST SUNDAY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HONOLULU HAS ISSUED A HIGH SURF ADVISORY WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 8 PM HST SUNDAY.

SURF: 12 TO 18 FEET ALONG NORTH FACING SHORES...6 TO 12 FEET ALONG WEST FACING SHORES.

TIMING: STARTS SATURDAY AFTERNOON ON NIIHAU AND KAUAI LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON ON OAHU SATURDAY NIGHT ON MOLOKAI AND MAUI ENDS SUNDAY EVENING.

IMPACTS: ROUGH SURF AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS.
