Recent theft from auto sprees in Laurel and Seven Oaks...
Over the past week there have been several reported theft from automobiles in the Laurel - Russett community and Seven Oaks community and immediate surrounding areas. Most if not all of these crimes were preventable. Thieves are targeting vehicles that have been left unlocked and/or where valuables have been left in view. There are no suspects at this time.
We can not stress enough how easy it is to prevent being a victim...
LOCK YOUR CARS DOORS
REMOVE VALUABLES FROM PLAIN SIGHT,
especially small electronic items, purses, wallets, lap top computers, book bags, etc.
REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY IMMEDIATELY BY CALLING 911
PARK IN WELL LIT AREAS IF YOU CAN
