AVOID Illinois Rt 176 between Rt 47 and Briarwood road in Crystal Lake for the next hour due to a traffic crash.

Crystal Lake Police are investigating a traffic crash with injuries on RT 176 at Mt. Thabor Road. Motorists should avoid attempting to travel on Il Rt. 176 east from IL Rt. 47, or west from Briarwood Rd for at least the next hour. Use US Rt. 14 as an alternative between Crystal Lake and Woodstock, or Algonquin Road as an alternative between Huntley, Lake in the Hills, and Crystal Lake.
