SEX ABUSE ARREST
One individual has been arrested on an indictment for a sexual abuse related offense.
“Aaron Wayne Pace, 32, of Boaz, was booked into the Detention Center on April 5th on an indictment of first degree sexual abuse,” says Investigator Carla Carroll.
The female victim was 6 years old at the time the incident took place in early 2011.
Pace is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
The victim was interviewed at the James M. Barrie Center for Children.
Pace was apprehended by deputies with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
