A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 77 year old Barnegat male who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
Anthony Granese, 77, of the Mirage development in Barnegat was last seen at Island Beach State Park at 4:30pm today (March 31) where he approached a Berkeley Township police officer looking for directions to the southbound Garden State Parkway.
Granese originally left his Barnegat residence at 1:30pm to travel to a store in Manahawkin, and was reported missing to the Barnegat Police Department at 5:30pm.
Granese is operating a 2003 Toyota Camry, silver in color bearing New Jersey license plate SK783N.
Anyone who sees Granese's vehicle is asked to contact 911.
