Hollister Police Seek Publics Assistance Identifying Theft Suspect
HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – March 25, 2012 – On March 23, 2012 at about 4:00 p.m. Hollister Police officers were called to Safeway (341 Tres Pinos Road) for a theft report. The suspect took money from a wallet of another customer and left the store.
The woman in the photo was seen taking a wallet from the victims shopping cart. She removed the cash from the wallet and placed the wallet back in another location in the store. The female suspect then left the store about two minutes later. The victim reported approximately $200 missing from her wallet. The entire incident was captured on a surveillance video system.
The suspect (pictured) is described as a white or Hispanic female in her 50s. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. Hollister Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect.
