Due to the extreme fire danger Fire Warden John Pasieka has advised that no burn permits are to be issued by any of the Deputy Wardens.
Residents who have been issued permits will not be allowed to burn until the NH Department of Forestry and Lands determines the conditions are safe and instructs the Town Fire Warden to allow burning and issuing permits.
Burning when a ban is in effect could result in a fine as well as paying the costs of the fire department response to extinguish the fire.
Anyone seeing a fire or any outside burning should immediately call 911 or Hillsboro Dispatch at 495-3233.
