1.) National Grid will be working on the transmissions lines in Peabody alongside the Independence Greenway Bike Path. The bike path will be temporarily closed between the Ipswich River Trailhead and the Russell Street Trailhead between March 17th and May 7th, 2012. To ensure your safety, please use the detour along Russell Street during this time.
Only authorized personnel are allowed within the right of way during construction.

2.) As a separate project, the Peabody Municipal Light Plant will be moving electric utility poles and power lines in Peabody alongside the Peabody Bike Path behind Hannaford Plaza. The bike path will be closed Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4:30pm from March 21st through April 19, 2012. The bike path will be available for use after 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and open at all times on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during this period.
