Just a reminder to all our rural residents - this warm weather may be bringing out those looking for open unlocked garages and pole barns. In addition, access to these outbuildings become more accessible.
Webster Twp has already reported a barn break-in with several items/tools being stolen.
The Northfield twp Police would again remind you to secure your outbuildings, inventory all propety(photographing any unusual items), record all serial numbers for your small machinery & tools, and engrave tools and valuables with your drivers license number.
Remember, call us if you observe any suspicious persons or vehicles in your area.
Remember too, Break -Ins often occur during daytime hours while homeowners are away.
